Celtic fans praise the signing of Forster after Killie performance

Many Celtic supporters have praised the club’s decision to re-sign Fraser Forster on loan in the summer transfer window, after a strong display against Kilmarnock.

The Southampton loanee saved a penalty late on for Celtic in Sunday’s 3-1 victory against Killie, as the Hoops continued their impressive start to the season. 

And following his display, these supporters have hailed the decision to sign Forster in the summer, with one fan in particular claiming it could prove to be a “masterstroke.”

READ CELTIC VERDICT

Re-signing Forster on loan in the summer certainly appears as though it will prove to be an excellent piece of business from Celtic, with the shot-stopper’s penalty save a key moment against Killie.

Had Forster had been beaten from the spot, then Angelo Alessio’s side would have had the momentum heading into the final few minutes at Parkhead in an attempt for an equaliser.

However, Forster loves a penalty save and his stop helped Celtic cruise to victory in the end.
