Celtic host Partick Thistle on Wedesday evening as they bid to reach the semi-final of the Betfred League Cup.
The Hoops face Scottish Championship strugglers Partick after defeating Dunfermline 2-1 back in August, thanks to a Mikey Johnston wonder goal and an extra-time winner from James Forrest.
The Jags had a memorable match against Premiership side Ross County in the Round of 16.
Being 1-0 down with 10 minutes to play, a Kenny Miller equaliser spurred the comeback which continued into extra-time, where they ran out eventual 3-2 winners.
There has been big changes at Firhill since then though with former Celt Gary Caldwell being axed.
Kenny Miller temporarily stepped in as manager and only on Monday, Ian McCall returned to the dugout for his second stint in charge.
McCall will be hoping to defy all the odds and kick-start his return with a bang, by denying Neil Lennon the chance to win the League Cup for the first time as Hoops boss.
And he’ll be looking to one very familiar face in particular to make that happen for the away side…
KENNY MILLER
The 39-year-old veteran striker is no stranger to facing his old employers, with Wednesday’s game set to be his 30th run-out against the Hoops for his fifth different club.
Despite the number of appearances, and as many fans will know, Miller’s goal ratio is not overly impressive against the Parkhead side, with only 11 goals.

However his experience will be invaluable within this shaky and inexperienced Thistle side, and manager Ian McCall will be reliant on him to keep his side in the game.
Miller doesn’t have the pace he did in his Hibs and Rangers days, but will always be a nuisance for defenders, on and off the ball.
If Partick are to cause any surprises, there’s a good chance the former Scotland striker will be at the centre of it.
