Celtic fans believe Bauer should have been included in BT Sport Team of the Week

Celtic supporters believe Moritz Bauer should have been included in BT Sport’s Team of the Week over Rangers’ James Tavernier.

The right-back produced a fine performance against Kilmarnock but was overlooked by the BT Sport duo of Chris Sutton and Darrell Currie, who decided Tavernier’s display was worthy of an inclusion in the team.

And despite Odsonne Edouard and James Forrest both being included in the side, these Celtic fans believe Bauer should also have been selected in the side.

READ CELTIC VERDICT

Bauer was certainly unlucky to not gain the recognition he deserved for his fine display against Killie, and will feel hard done by to have not made the team.

Ultimately, however, I’m sure he will not lose any sleep over it and Celtic fans will not mind either, as long as he continues the fine start to his Hoops career.
