These Celtic fans were delighted to see Sinclair back amongst the goals

Winger Scott Sinclair was back amongst the goals for Celtic as he netted during the comfortable 5-0 victory over Partick Thistle in the League Cup quarter-final clash on Wednesday night.

Sinclair has fallen heavily out of favour this season and has failed to make the matchday squad on multiple occasions already.

However, manager Neil Lennon provided him with the chance to prove himself under the floodlights, and he did just that.

Sinclair got the biggest cheer of the night when he was brought on by Lennon. He looked fresh and determined to score, which he eventually did do.

It also looks like the winger has been putting in plenty of hours in the gym and on the training pitch, which is hugely encouraging because it shows that he is willing to work hard to earn his place back in the team.

One thing is certain, if Sinclair continues to produce good performances like how he did on Wednesday, then there’ll be no excuse for Lennon to not use him more often.
