Celtic return to league action this weekend as they travel to the capital to face Hibs.
The sides are fresh off the back of League Cup wins; but in two very different fashions. The Treble Treble winners coasted to a 5-0 win at home to Championship outfit Partick Thistle, despite a number of first-team regulars being rested.
The victory secured their place in the semi-final, where they will play Hibs in November.
Hibs’ win didn’t come so easy. Neither them or Kilmarnock could find a goal during 120 minutes of football at Rugby Park, so it was decided via a penalty shootout. Paul Heckingbottom’s men won it 5-4.
However, the Edinburgh side are without a league win in five matches; their last match ending in an agonising loss to rivals Hearts.
Celtic will be looking to maintain their perfect start and are showing no signs of slowing down.
A number of key players will likely return to the starting lineup after being given a rest.
Here is our Celtic predicted XI for Saturday’s 12.30 kick-off.
