Paul Slane’s verdict on Charlie Nicholas has these Celtic fans in stitches

Paul Slane has had many Celtic fans in hysterics on Twitter after he mocked Charlie Nicholas following his comments about Odsonne Edouard.

The former Celtic and Arsenal striker left many baffled as his latest shot at the Hoops was aimed towards the way Eddy celebrates after he’s scored a goal.

In response to Nicholas’ comments, Slane took to Twitter to mock the Sky Sports pundit’s appearance with a comparison to U2 star Bono to the delight of these supporters.

It’s fair to say Nicholas’ comments have certainly caused a stir amongst supporters and even with Eddy himself, who responded in a typically measured and cool way.

Slaney’s response was a little more personal but an equally funny was to handle the comments, and Nicholas may now think twice before attempting to make a bold claim about Celtic again.
