These Celtic fans praise Scott Brown for proving his doubters wrong

Scott Brown produced another excellent display for Celtic against Cluj on Thursday night, and many Hoops fans were full of praise for their captain for consistently proving his doubters wrong. 

The Celtic skipper was brilliant throughout as goals from Odsonne Edouard and Mohamed Elyounoussi gave the Hoops a vital 2-0 win against Cluj to send them top of Group E.

And following the win, these fans praised Brown’s mentality and suggested those who call for him to be dropped are wrong.

Broony is still hugely important for Celtic, and that was emphasised by his performance agains Cluj on Thursday. 

Suggestions of dropping him all together certainly appear farfetched given how he still has so much to offer.

At 34-years-old, however, Neil Lennon may be looking to manage his game time for the rest of the season in order to allow him to maintain his high performance levels, and rest him in order to keep him fresh for Celtic’s ‘bigger’ games.
