Lennon: Celtic were ‘immature’ against Livi – Why his comments are a positive despite defeat

Neil Lennon believes his side showed “immaturity” in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat Livingston, but his comments are still a positive for Celtic.
Speaking to the club’s YouTube channel following the loss, Lennon admitted his side did not do enough in front of goal and were ‘immature’ against Livi.
There was a bit of immaturity about us today. I think we got too involved with the emotions of the game instead of being cool and being professional. We didn’t really work the goalkeeper enough for my liking, and our set plays after losing Ryan [Christie] were disappointing as well.

Celtic were certainly too poor against Livingston, and did not do enough to get anything out of the game.
Lennon clearly recognises that, however, and his comments can still be a positive for Celtic for the remainder of the season.
The Hoops have plenty of time to recover from this setback and use Lennon’s comments as motivation to improve after the international break, and return fully focused.
