Celtic fans humorously suggest Lennon looks similar to Matty Longstaff

Some Celtic fans have noticed a photograph doing the rounds on Twitter of Newcastle United brother’s Sean and Matty Longstaff when they were younger, with the latter wearing a Celtic kit in the picture.

Matty enjoyed a Premier League debut to remember last weekend, scoring Newcastle’s winning goal against Manchester United, as he lined up in midfield alongside his older brother.

Following the result, an old photograph of the brother’s emerged on social media, with Matty donning the Celtic kit sponsored by NTL from the late 1990’s and early 2000s.

And these Hoops fans have reacted humorously to the photo, with one supporter in particular brilliant suggesting the current Newcastle star looks similar to Neil Lennon.

The comparison to Lennon was certainly a humorous one, with the similarities there for all to see!

And the reason why Matty was wearing the Celtic kit is reportedly due to the fact that former Hoops midfielder Alan Thompson is in fact a cousin to the two brothers.
