Celtic fans hail permanent appointment of Nick Hammond

Many Celtic fans have hailed the decision to appoint Nick Hammond as the club’s permanent Head of Football Operations.

The club made the announcement on Wednesday, confirming that Hammond would being the role with immediate effect after joining on a short-term basis during the summer. 

And these fans appear to be delighted by the announcement.

Hammond’s appointment certainly appears to be a positive for Celtic, given the positive impact he has already had.

The former West Brom man was responsible for signing a number of the youngsters who joined the club in the summer, including the impressive Jeremie Frimpong.

The defender shone on his Celtic debut against Partick Thistle, and looks to be a fine piece of business; and Hoops supporters will be hoping Hammond can replicate that success going forwards.
