A number of fans have reacted to Celtic’s appointment of Nick Hammond as the club’s new Head of Football Operations.
Hammond, who had taken over the role in the summer on a short term basis, was appointed on a permanent basis on Wednesday with immediate effect.
And while some appear to be pleased with the decision, these supporters of sides who Hammond has previously worked for, have warned Celtic fans not to get too carried away.

Hammond’s short-term work for Celtic appears to have been very positive so far, despite the concerns from supporters of previous club’s he has worked at.
Celtic’s new Head of Football Operations was responsible for bringing the likes of Jeremie Frimpong and Jonathan Afolabi in over the summer.
And while the latter is yet to make his full debut for the Hoops, Frimpong starred on his first appearance for Celtic in the League Cup victory over Partick Thistle.
So while there may be concerns from other football fans, Celtic supporters can look to the work he has already done and be positive about the announcement.
