Manchester United are plotting a January move for Kristoffer Ajer as part of a Norwegian triple swoop, but can Celtic keep hold of the defender?

According to 90min, United are targeting a move for Ajer alongside fellow Norwegian duo Sander Berge and Erling Braut Haaland as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer outlines his plans for the January window.

United have endured a difficult start to the Premier League this season and currently sit in 12th place after three defeats from their opening eight league games, and are targeting Ajer to bolster their defensive options.
