Celtic face competition in race for Akande
Celtic face competition in the race to land the highly rated Adrian Akande, as Hoffenheim step up their interest in him, and he certainly seems an exciting talent.
According to HITC, Celtic are set to rival the likes of Rangers, West Ham and Tottenham for the 15-year-old’s signature, but Hoffenheim could be in the driving seat.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in Akande, with a report last month linking them with a move.
The Bundesliga side have reportedly invited the winger to train with them and take a tour of the facilities in an attempt to win the race for his signature, with the report suggesting he will make a decision on his future in the next three months.
