Celtic followed up their brilliant midweek win over Lazio in the Europa League with another excellent display on Sunday as the Hoops dispatched of Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring with a well taken finish just 10 minutes into the game, before Jeremie Frimpong continued his fine start to his Celtic career by adding a second just five minutes later.
James Forrest capped a wonderful team move to add a superb third for Celtic, who completely blew the Dons away in the first-half.
Mohamed Elyounoussi is another who looked bright and the Norway international added a fourth on the stroke of halt-time.
The Hoops were in cruise control in the second-half, and the 4-0 win momentarily takes Neil Lennon’s men three points clear of Rangers, who will look to close the gap when they host Motherwell later on Sunday.
Here’s how we rated the Hoops following a brilliant display at Pittodrie.
Fraser Forster - 6
Was a virtual spectator throughout, and he was hardly made to work for yet another clean sheet.
Jeremie Frimpong - 8.5
Frimpong continued his brilliant start to life at Celtic with another display full of energy and promise, capped by his first goal for the club.
Christopher Jullien - 6
Celtic’s hero from Thursday was hardly tested in the first-half as Celtic ran riot, and he was given a nice break after being substituted at half-time.
Kristoffer Ajer - 7
A solid display from the centre-back both defensively and on the ball, barely put a foot wrong.
Boli Bolingoli - 6.5
A relatively solid display from Boli, who continues to keep Greg Taylor out of the side. Not his usually sprightly self going forwards, however.
Callum McGregor - 7
CalMac breezed through the game and kept the midfield ticking over nicely as Celtic dominated.
Scott Brown - 7
A versatile display from Broony, who dropped into central defence at times to form a back three in what would’ve been a comfortable afternoon for the skipper.
James Forrest - 9
Aberdeen struggled to cope with Forrest’s movement and skill throughout, and his goal capped an excellent display for the winger.
Tom Rogic - 9
Rogic produced a display we were all craving to see from him, with the Australia international an instrumental figure in everything Celtic produced going forwards.
Mohamed Elyounoussi - 9
Lennon promised to get the best out of Elyounoussi this season, and he is certainly starting to do that, with the winger producing arguably his best display in a Celtic shirt with a goal and an assist.
Odsonne Edouard - 8
Eddy just continued doing standard Eddy things with another goal, and the Frenchman was unlucky to be denied a second before he was given a rest for the final 20 minutes.
Nir Bitton - 6
Replaced Jullien at half-time and was equally as comfortable.
Vakoun Bayo - 6
Came on for a 20 minute cameo after replacing Eddy but didn’t really have much of a sniff at goal.
