Sir Kenny Dalglish believes Celtic fans need to ‘relax’ about Odsonne Edouard’s future at the club amid growing transfer interest in him, and he does make a good point.
Writing in his column for the Sunday Post, Dalglish suggested that both Neil Lennon and the Celtic supporters should not worry about the possibility of a January move away for Eddy.
There will be scouts monitoring the former PSG striker. That’s only to be expected. Every time a player does well, there’s talk about such-and-such a club wanting him. Until someone steps forward with a definite bid, however, there is no decision to be made.

And, right now, there is nothing to consider. That’s why Neil and the supporters should be relaxed. Nothing, if anything, can happen until at least January. Also, while I don’t know the lad Edouard, he doesn’t strike me as being the type to rock the boat to try to get away in this forthcoming window. He does his talking on the pitch. That has to be a positive.

Dalglish does make a good point about Eddy, as the Frenchman certainly does not appear the type to throw his toys out of the pram in order to force a move away.
Furthermore, Celtic seem adamant to keep hold of the striker in January, meaning any worries about a potential departure in the upcoming window can be eased.
Eddy is arguably in the form of his life at the moment, adding his 11th goal of the season in all competitions for the Hoops in the win over Aberdeen, whilst also taking his tally of assists this campaign to nine.
And given such a brilliant run of form, we have to enjoy every moment of having the Frenchman lead the line.
