Celtic face Hibernian on Saturday for the second time in just five weeks, as they look to book themselves a place in the Betfred League Cup Final.
The pair last met in this competition at this stage, two years ago, when the Glasgow side ran out 4-2 winners, and Neil Lennon will be hoping for a similar outcome, as he looks to win the only domestic trophy he’s failed to lift as Celtic manager.
Hibs are no strangers to Lennon or Celtic, as the Edinburgh side held them to a 1-1 draw earlier on in the season, where the Hoops dropped their first points of the season.
The Bhoys struggled that afternoon, with Christian Doidge, Scott Allan and Glenn Middleton all impressing and causing problems.
To ensure they have the opportunity to grab the first piece of silverware on offer this season, Celtic will need to get a better hold of the aforementioned players and put in a stronger performance than what was on show at Easter Road back in September.
