Mohamed Elyounoussi believes he is now getting close to his best following his summer loan from Southampton, and that is hugely exciting for Celtic.
Speaking after his Man of the Match performance against Hibernian on Saturday, Elyounoussi revealed he is nearing “100 per cent” and is full of confidence once again, the Daily Record reports.
I would say I’m getting towards 100 per cent with my
performances now. If I’d been there already, I would probably have scored four goals out there. I should have scored four or five in the game. But I’m getting back to where I was a while ago. I’m feeling really good and the boys are playing me in to good positions.

I enjoy playing in this team and we’re in a really good place. In the league, this cup, the Europa League, we’re doing well so it’s a good time to be a Celtic player right now.

Elyounoussi’s comments are hugely positive for both himself and for Celtic.
The winger already looks back to his best but if he believes there is still more to come even after scoring twice and assisting two more in the 5-2 win against Hibs, then we’re all in for a treat.
The Norway international has been excellent in recent weeks, leading to inevitable questions as to whether Celtic could afford to sign him permanently in the summer.
