Celtic were linked with a move for attacking midfielder Mark Diemers last summer after a strong season for Fortuna Sittard, so should the Hoops reignite their interest in him once again after an excellent start to this campaign?
Diemers had been expected to leave Fortuna last summer amid links with Celtic, Frieburg and a number of Eredivisie outfits, but a move failed to materialise.
And that has certainly been a huge boost for Fortuna, with the midfielder beginning this season in excellent goalscoring form. So should Celtic look to make a move for him once again?

There has been nothing to suggest that Celtic are interested in Diemers once again, but his current form could tempt the Hoops into enquiring once again.
Diemers has scored six goals and created three assists in 12 appearances in all competitions so far this season, despite Fortuna currently in the relegation play-off places in the Eredivisie.
While he is in excellent fettle and appears as though he would be a good signing for Celtic, the Hoops currently have a wealth of attacking midfield options with the likes of Ryan Christie, Tom Rogic and Olivier Ntcham.
A January move for the Dutch midfielder therefore appears unlikely, with a more defensive minded midfielder arguably a more important to Celtic in the next transfer window.
David Turnbull has been linked with a move to Parkhead once again, however, meaning Celtic could be open to pursuing a move for Diemers.
