McGinn hints at future Celtic move
Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn has hinted that he could move to Scottish champions Celtic in the future.
The Scottish international was a target for the Hoops during the summer transfer window.
The Glasgow club had three offers for McGinn rejected by Hibernian before ultimately allowing him to move to the Premier League.
McGinn admitted his heart was set on a move to Celtic, and as quoted on the Birmingham Mail, he hasn’t ruled out a move to them just yet. He said:
You never say never in football. When you’ve got that instilled in you it never really does leave you.
Obviously, the circumstances mean that I’m now an Aston Villa player but I’ll just take each year as it comes and if it does happen down the line then who knows.

McGinn has been one of the standout performers for Villa so far this season and would be a great addition to the Celtic side.
Do you want McGinn to join Celtic in a few seasons?
Yes
No
However, at the moment, he really would not get into the team, especially with the current form of Callum McGregor, Olivier Ntcham and Ryan Christie.
McGinn is still 25 years old so still has plenty of time left before he ends his career. You never know, he could be playing at Celtic Park soon.
