Mohamed Daramy has responded to the transfer rumours linking him with a move to both Liverpool and Celtic by suggesting he does not know about the Reds, but he does not mention the Hoops – and that could be a good thing.
According to HITC, Daramy responded to a question thrown to him on an Instagram video with one of his Copenhagen teammates about the rumours by saying:
I don’t know, I don’t know. I don’t know anything about Liverpool, I’m an FC Copenhagen player not a Liverpool player.

Daramy suggesting he doesn’t know anything about Liverpool’s interest while Celtic are not mentioned is a positive.
On the one hand it could suggest that Celtic have already made contact with Copenhagen over a potential move, and are in talks with the winger, though that is unlikely at this stage as there have been no reports of such kind.
On the other, it does confirm that at least Liverpool are yet to make a formal move for the 17-year-old, who became Copenhagen’s youngest ever goalscorer in 2018.
Therefore the door is open for Celtic to swoop in and attempt to complete a move for the highly rated winger.
