Factfile: Who is Celtic target Niklas Dorsch?

Celtic have been linked with a move for Heidenheim midfielder Niklas Dorsch with a potential January bid in mind.

Reports emerged earlier this week suggesting Celtic were considering activating his release clause of a reported €3.2million, as Neil Lennon gets ready for the January transfer window.

The Hoops currently appear to be the only side in the running to sign the midfielder, with reports thus far naming only Celtic as potential suitors.

A potential move for Dorsch could well depend on whether Burnley come in for Nir Bitton, with the Premier League outfit said to be willing to offer Celtic £1million for the Israel international who is out of contract in the summer.

And following the rumours linking Dorsch with a move to Parkhead, we’ve taken a look at his career so far and what he could potentially offer Celtic.
