Morgan focusing on Celtic amid Hibs links
Lewis Morgan has played down the rumours linking him with a move to Hibernian following Jack Ross’ appointment at Easter Road.
The winger worked with Ross at St Mirren and Sunderland respectively, and praised the former Buddies boss for having a big impact on his career.
However according to the Daily Record, Morgan insisted he is not looking for a move away in January to reunite with Ross and is fully focused on Celtic.
I know people have mentioned it but he hasn’t! I just texted him to wish him well. He replied but that was it. I am just concentrating on working hard at Celtic.
I know I haven’t played as much so I was delighted to get called up by the gaffer for the Scotland squad and it’s about trying to impress in training. I just want to keep trying to improve at club and Scotland level.

Morgan being linked with a move to Hibs following Ross’ appointment is somewhat of an inevitability given how the winger flourished under him at St Mirren.
And while Morgan has played down the rumours of a move away, a loan spell under Ross may not be the worst thing for him to rediscover his best form.
Do you think a loan move would be good for Morgan?
Yes
No
The 23-year-old has struggled to establish himself as an important figure for Celtic and did not make the most of his early season opportunities.
However Morgan may well have another chance to impress following the international break, given how Mikey Johnston and Mohamed Elyounoussi have both struggled with respective injuries.
