Celtic are said to be monitoring the progress of Le Mans midfielder Stephane Diarra amid interest from the Premier League.
According to L’Equipe, who were the first outlet to report on Celtic’s interest in Christopher Jullien in the summer, the Hoops have been scouting Diarra for “several seasons.”
Leicester City are also said to be interested in the 20-year-old midfielder, which is understandable given how he was on Brendan Rodgers’ radar during his time at Celtic, while Newcastle have scouted the Frenchman.

The 20-year-old has been impressing in Ligue 2 this season, with the right-midfielder scoring twice in 10 appearances so far.
Diarra has also completed the third highest number of dribbles in Ligue 2 this season, suggesting he is a winger who enjoys taking players on and creating chances.
While Celtic face competition for Diarra, the Hoops will be hoping the recent successes of their French contingent will bolster their chances of signing the winger.
