Jack Grealish believes that Callum McGregor would be a “success” if he ever moved to the Premier League, but admitted he does not see why a move away from Celtic would appeal to the midfielder.
Leicester City were linked with a move for CalMac in the summer and were tipped to go in for the midfielder in January prior to his contract extension with Celtic.
And according to Birmingham Live via the Daily Record, Grealish believes his former teammate would flourish in the Premier League, though he can’t see the midfielder leaving Parkhead.
If he ever did come to the Premier League, 100 per cent he’d be a success.I don’t know if it will happen because Celtic has a massive place in his heart in the way Aston Villa is in mine. It would be hard to leave our clubs.

He is playing Champions League or Europa League every season, he plays in the Scotland team every single time, so I can’t see why he’d want to leave.

Grealish certainly makes a good point, as CalMac would be an excellent player in the Premier League as he has shown for Celtic, but there is no reason why he would want to leave.
The 26-year-old has recently signed a five-year contract extension with the club and hinted after agreeing the deal that he would like to see out his career at Celtic.
