Bahlul Mustafazade has revealed he is still keen on a move to Celtic after being linked with the Hoops in the summer.
The defender previously claimed he would “jump” at the chance to sign for Celtic following reports he was set to be offered a trial at Lennoxtown, but a move clearly failed to materialise.
However the Azerbaijan international has told AzeriSport that he is still pursuing a move away as he feels as though it would be crucial for his career.
I can’t name specifically which club (is interested). They did not say anything to me, there was no official proposal. But for (my) development it is necessary to speak of abroad. I am aware of this. If there is such an option, then it must be considered.

While Mustafazade may well be keen on a move away and attempting to drum up previous interest in him, Celtic should avoid signing the defender.
The 22-year-old looked poor for Azerbaijan in their 2-0 defeat to Wales during the international break as the physical Kieffer Moore caused him trouble throughout the game.
Furthermore it appears as though Mustafazade is also struggling for form at club level in the Azerbaijan Premier League, with Sabah currently one point clear of bottom of the league.
