Despite claims earlier this month suggesting Leicester City were not interested in signing Kristoffer Ajer in January, the rumour has once again resurfaced.
Previous reports had claimed that a potential £20million move from the Foxes was not on the cards amid rumours Brendan Rodgers was lining up a bid for the defender.
However according to 90min, Leicester are still interested in signing Ajer, with this report claiming the Premier League side are confident a deal under £20million can be struck.
Rodgers has reportedly been keen on signing the 21-year-old ever since he left Celtic for Leicester, and 90min claim the Foxes are “now set to make” a January bid.

Interest in Ajer from Leicester is both inevitable and understandable.
At 21-years-old, the Norway international has huge potential to become a top defender and, given the form he’s shown for Celtic since his arrival, he looks well on the way to reaching those heights.
Rodgers has been consistently linked with a move for the defender since his move down south, but a fee lower than £20million certainly appears optimistic.
Ajer is already a regular for his club and country, and alongside his age, the Hoops should ensure £20m-£25million is received for the defender if Leicester do come in with a bid.
