Sporting Lisbon are unlikely to be able to afford a move for Olivier Ntcham after reports emerged linking the Portuguese giants with the midfielder.
That’s according to Sport Witness, who reveal that Sporting have the Frenchman ‘on their radar,’ but he will likely fall off said radar once the Hoops reveal their asking price.

Roma and Valencia are also said to be interested in signing Ntcham, with the Serie A side said to be preparing a January move for the Frenchman.

While it will come as a boost to see Sporting apparently out of the running to sign Ntcham, Roma and Valencia are both likely to be able to match Celtic’s valuation.
And while an asking price clearly hasn’t been set yet, the Hoops reportedly valued Ntcham at a fee in the region of £15million last summer, and could set a similar figure should the aforementioned pair come knocking.
