Celtic ensured a top place finish in Europa League group E after a 3-1 win over Rennes thanks to goals from Lewis Morgan, Ryan Christie and Mikey Johnston.
A tight opening to the game was soon ended by surprise starter Lewis Morgan, who turned a James Forrest cross into the net to give the hosts the lead.
Olivier Ntcham then tested the Rennes goalkeeper with a low rasping drive that was parried away.
There were few chances at either end as the game approached half-time but Christie was on hand to provide the two goal cushion just before the break.
The midfielder stepped away from a few challenges before unleashing a low strike that bounced in front of the ‘keeper before hitting the net.
Into the second-half, Morgan had a chance to double his tally for the evening as the ball across fell kindly for him but the Rennes stopper was there to block.
Off the bench and back from injury, Johnston exchanges passes with Ntcham before finding the bottom far corner for 3-0. A lovely finish.
In the latter stages, the visitors got themselves a consolation with Adrien Hunou glancing a header past Fraser Forster.
