Celtic made it 10 wins in a row in the Highlands after an emphatic 4-1 victory over Ross County.
A double from Ryan Christie cancelled out Ross Stewart’s equaliser in the first-half before Tom Rogic and Mikey Johnston added two more.
The hosts began the game with virtually their whole team behind the ball allowing the hoops some comfortable possession.
Christie was first to threaten the County goal after 5 minutes when he whipped a free kick off the near post from out wide.
It didn’t take long for another opportunity as referee Nick Walsh pointed the spot for a late tackle on Morgan. Christie stepped up only to see his effort saved well by Nathan Baxter, but the midfielder was alert to slam in the rebound.
However, against the run of play the Highlanders found a leveller on 24 minutes.
A free-kick into the heart of the Celtic box was glanced home by Stewart with none of the defenders getting anywhere near the ball.
That goal seemed to give the home side confidence as they then competed better.
Despite this, Neil Lennon saw his team go back in front before the break as Kristoffer Ajer’s perfect pass saw Christie in to finish past the onrushing Baxter.
Into the second period, Celtic had their opponents hemmed in.
Callum McGregor came close to a third as his low strike from distance hit the outside of the post.
Celtic did get their third though as Morgan got down the left before Taylor’s dummy allowed Christie to set up Rogic who found the bottom corner via a slight deflection, a lovely move from the Bhoys.
Mikey Johnston then stepped off the bench and within a minute got himself on the scoresheet.
The winger outpaced Richard Forster down the left to get into the box and curled the ball into the far corner for an instant impact.
Ross County did look to have pulled another one back as Ross Stewart finished past Fraser Forster but the goal was wrongly chopped off for offside.
Here’s how we rated the players after this afternoon’s 4-1 victory.
