For the first time since 2011, it’s a Glasgow derby cup final, as Celtic face Rangers in the Betfred Cup at Hampden on Sunday.
If the fixture wasn’t juicy enough, the midweek games added extra fuel to the fire.
Celtic collected three points in dramatic fashion on Wednseday night as they scraped past Hamilton Accies 2-1.
It wasn’t the prettiest of performances but the Hoops were in control, until conceding a shock 90th minute equaliser from the Accies. But Scott Brown had the last say, with a fine solo goal in the 92nd minute to seal the crucial three points.

Simultaneously, Rangers were well in control in their match up at Pittodrie and fired into a well deserved 2-0 lead early doors. But the hope side clawed back and held Steven Gerrard’s men to a 2-2 draw, allowing Celtic a two point gap at the top of the table.
Alfredo Morelos, despite having 25 goals already this season, failed to capitalise on a golden opportunity that could’ve secured the win. He’s turning up in the Europa League this season but has still yet to make any mark on Celtic.
Despite his ever growing ridiculous price tag, he’s not done enough in past games against the Bhoys to prove he’ll be this weekend’s opposition dangerman.
RYAN KENT
Even though Scott Brown has more goals than him this season, Ryan Kent could prove rather troublesome on Sunday.
He’s shown glimpses of his talent, that earned him the permanent move to Rangers in the summer, but has yet to consistently make a regular impact, particularly due to an injury he suffered earlier on in the season.
Nevertheless, the former Liverpool man is undoubtedly Rangers most creative player.

With the ability to strike from range, or drive to the byline, his pace and skill could be the toughest task Celtic will face.
Young Frimpong may get the nod on Sunday due to his attacking ability. He was caught out against Ross County for allowing to much space behind him in defence, something Kent will undoubtedly take advantage of.
If it be Bauer or Frimpong to start in the right, they’ll need to be given extra support to handle the tricky Rangers talisman.
