Celtic fans react to video of Jeremie Frimpong celebrating

Celtic fans absolutely loved watching Jeremie Frimpong’s celebrations following the full-time whistle at Hampden.

The right-back would have feared the worst following his red card after bundling Alfredo Morelos over in the area, but Fraser Forster came to his rescue to deny the striker from converting the penalty.

Following the 1-0 win, Frimpong was filmed celebrating on the pitch on Kundai Benyu’s Instagram story, and these fans loved seeing his passion.

Frimpong would certainly have experienced a rollercoaster of emotions in what was arguably a hugely important game in his development.

The youngster began the game as one of Celtic’s brightest players before the low of receiving his red card, but was clearly and understandably delighted at full-time.

Despite the sending off, he’s proved to be an excellent summer signing and he has a real chance of establishing himself as Celtic’s first choice right-back for many season’s to come.
