Celtic could have been dealt a potentially huge transfer blow amid reports that Southampton believe they can sell Fraser Forster for an extortionate fee next summer.
According to Football Insider, “a Southampton source” claims the Premier League side value Forster in the region of £25million following his heroics with Celtic so far this season.
Despite his form however, Saints are still said to be looking to offload him next summer and are said to be confident of agreeing a deal in the region of £25m.

Neil Lennon is likely to do all he can to pursue a permanent move for Forster next summer, but there is no chance Celtic will be able to afford him if that is Southampton’s valuation.
There were question marks over whether a move for the 31-year-old could happen prior to this report, given how he is earning around £70,000-a-week at St Mary’s.
And if this report is to be believed then Celtic will have no choice but to turn their attention elsewhere; something that would be a huge blow after his League Cup performance on Sunday.
