The busy festive football fixture schedule is upon us and Celtic have four matches in 11 days.

The Hoops round off the first half of the campaign with a home clash against arch-rivals Rangers on Sunday 29 December.

Before that though, the champions face St Mirren and Aberdeen, along with tonight’s clash with Hearts.

With so many fixtures coming up, captain Scott Brown knows that rotation will be needed. As quoted on the official club website, he said:

Everyone knows how hard December is for us.

We play a lot of games and the squad needs to be used wisely. At the end of the month, we get the winter break but we’ve got four huge games before then. We need to make sure we try and win every single one of them.

The manager wanted strength in depth in every position and that’s what we’ve got just now.

Brown is spot on. Lennon needs to ensure that he rotates the team adequately to give them the best chance of winning all four matches before the winter break.

Do you think Celtic will win all four remaining matches this month?

Yes

No

That starts with tonight’s selection. The Hoops have a strong enough squad to brush aside Hearts.

This is one of the best Celtic squads in recent years and chopping and changing over the next four matches shouldn’t be a problem at all.
