Celtic have been handed a boost ahead of the third Glasgow Derby of the season following an injury update on Rangers’ Filip Helander.
Steven Gerrard has been without the defender since the League Cup final earlier this month, and Helander looks set to miss at least the next month with a foot problem, according to STV’s Raman Bhardwaj.

The centre-back was the centre of attention following the League Cup final earlier this month, as his arm played Christopher Jullien onside in the build up to the first goal.
But he will not be involved at Parkhead later this month, which will come as a big blow for Rangers given how he has been a regular for Gerrard’s side following his £3.5million move in the summer.
On the other hand, news of Helander’s absence will be a positive for Celtic, though the likes of Odsonne Edouard, Ryan Christie and James Forrest will cause the Rangers defence a number of problems no matter who plays for them.
