Stoke City goalkeeper Josef Bursik has been linked with a cut-price move to Celtic in January, and a number of Potters supporters are incredibly unhappy following the news.
Reports emerged earlier this week suggesting Celtic could snap the 19-year-old up for a “bargain” fee, with his current contract set to expire next summer.
And these Stoke fans are not happy with their club for allowing Bursik to enter the final six months of his deal, amid the interest from Celtic.

Just sell Butland now and promote Davies. Get this lad a new contract. (@johnsharrock71)

The supporters’ frustrations are certainly understandable, as nobody likes to see their most promising players leave, let alone for a low fee due to their contract expiring in the near future.
Add to that the fact that Celtic also have Bursik’s Stoke teammate Tyrese Campbell on their radar, as he too enters the final six months of his deal, and the Stoke fans’ anger doubles.
But while it is a frustrating situation for the Potters supporters, Celtic could benefit hugely from it by picking up two young and promising talents for small fees.
