Neil Lennon has confirmed that Celtic are interested in Slovan Bratislava striker Andraz Sporar but denied reports the club have made a bid for him.
The Celtic boss dismissed the rumours following the victory over Hibernian last weekend, before Slovan chief Ivan Kmotrick contradicted him by suggesting Celtic have already made a bid in the region of €5.5million.
Lennon has now offered a fresh update on the club’s reported pursuit of Sporar according to the Daily Record, revealing the 25-year-old is indeed on the club’s radar.

We haven’t made a bid. We are looking at options going forward but there’s been no bid from us. He is an option and one of a number we are looking at.

Interest in Sporar is hardly surprising given his form for Slovan this season, with the striker bagging 20 goals in just 26 appearances in all competitions.
The 25-year-old also found the back of the net five times in the group stages of the Europa League, and is said to be valued in the region of €7m-€8m by Kmotrick.
Slovan’s chief however did confirm that a number of sides are interested in Sporar, meaning Celtic will have to act quickly in their pursuit.
