Celtic reportedly sent scouts to watch Saturday’s entertaining 2-2 draw between Dijon and Metz in Ligue 1.
The Hoops have been on a number of recent scouting missions ahead of the January transfer window, and according to Twitter account @scoutsattending, one of the latest was to cover the draw between Dijon and Metz.

Former Manchester City youngster Thierry Ambrose was the only player named as somebody who could have been on Celtic’s radar, though the post does note the Hoops may not have been after the Frenchman.

Celtic are said to be in the market for a striker in January, meaning Ambrose may well have been one player they were looking at.
However the 22-year-old is yet to score in 13 league appearances this season, and does not appear to be the type of player Celtic need to bring in in January.
The likes of Metz and Dijon do have a number of younger players in their ranks who could also have been on the Hoops’ radar though.
