Chris Sutton believes Celtic will have their ninth consecutive Scottish Premiership title “in the bag” if they have a strong January transfer window, and many fans agree.
Writing in his latest column for the Daily Record, Sutton suggested Celtic’s season thus far has shown how successful the summer window was, and if the Hoops can replicate that in January then the title is theirs once again.
Events of the past fortnight have proven conclusively that Celtic eventually got it bang on in the last transfer window. If Nick Hammond and Neil Lennon get it right again in January, the title’s in the bag and a Quadruple Treble may go with it.
And these fans clearly agree.

READ CELTIC VERDICT
While it is certainly a bold statement to make considering how we are only halfway through the season, Sutton does have a point.
The Hoops’ summer transfer business has proven to be hugely successful thus far, with the likes of Jeremie Frimpong flourishing and Fraser Forster’s return being a huge part of the club’s strong form.
Therefore strengthening with the right players next month will only make the club stronger in the push for the league title and a fourth domestic treble.
