Everton are set to rival Celtic in the race to sign the highly rated Josef Bursik from Stoke City next month.
The Hoops have recently been linked with a move for the 19-year-old shot-stopper but, according to Football Insider, now face strong competition from Everton.
The report claims the Toffees are looking to “blow Celtic out of the water” as the pair go head-to-head in the race to sign Bursik on a cut-price deal in January.

Bursik is said to be available for a fee in the region of £350,000, meaning he is certainly an affordable target for both Everton and Celtic.
The 19-year-old has just six months remaining on his current deal with Stoke and has previously been described as a “rising star.”
Bursik is the second Stoke player to be linked with a move to Celtic in January, with the Hoops also said to be interested in Tyrese Campbell.
