Celtic given potential boost in Bouzoukis pursuit
Celtic have been given a potential boost after a report revealed Panathinaikos are strapped for cash and could accept a relatively low offer for Hoops target Giannis Bouzoukis.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Parkhead after Nick Hammond reportedly scouted the midfielder in person earlier this month.
And according to HITC, Greek ‘football fanatic’ Graham Wood suggested the Greek side would find it hard to turn down a “decent” bid if Celtic do pursue a move for him in January.
Panathinaikos are completely skint so would be difficult for them to turn down a decent offer.

Celtic are likely to be well aware of Panathinaikos’ financial struggles, and could therefore be tempted to make an offer for Bouzoukis in the hope of striking a cut-price deal for the exciting midfielder.
Inter Milan are also interested in the 21-year-old however, and Celtic may have to act quickly to land Bouzoukis next month.
