Former Scotland international Alan Hutton believes Leigh Griffiths should be worried about his Celtic future amid reports the Hoops are targeting a move for a striker in January.
Neil Lennon has previously admitted he is looking to strengthen his attacking options next month, with Slovan Bratislava’s Andraz Sporar being heavily linked with a move to Celtic.
And speaking to Football Insider, Hutton revealed he would be worried if he was in Griffiths’ shoes.
I must admit, if I’m at a club as a right-back and they’re looking at all these different right-backs, I would start to worry a little.
He’s obviously been out for a long time, we know how good he can be or how good he is. All the talk of new strikers coming in, maybe Celtic are looking elsewhere to bring somebody in.

Hutton does raise a good point, as Celtic’s pursuit of another striker in January could be a real blow for Griff.
The 29-year-old has struggled with injury this season and the arrival of a frontman next month looks set to push him further down the pecking order.
