Ismaila Soro has reportedly been confirmed to be one of Celtic’s targets for the January transfer window by Neil Lennon.
Reports emerged earlier this month revealing Nick Hammond sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action for Israeli outfit Bnei Yehunda.
And according to the Daily Record, Lennon has now confirmed Celtic are keen on the £3million rated Soro, who is “amongst the names on the target list” for January.

Soro is relatively unknown given how he currently plies his trade in the Israeli Premier League, but the defensive midfielder appears to be having a strong campaign thus far.
The 21-year-old has been a mainstay in Bnei Yehunda’s midfield, making 20 appearances in all competitions this season and missing just one game.
Celtic’s interest in Soro will please many, given how the Hoops are in need of reinforcements in central midfield, especially when it comes to more defensive minded players.
