Steven Gerrard believes Alfredo Morelos is in “the best place he can be” ahead of this weekend’s third Glasgow Derby of the season.
The striker lashed out at Scott Brown in the last meeting between the side’s at Parkhead last season, picking up his fifth red card of the campaign.
However Gerrard believes Morelos will not get drawn into any altercations this weekend as his temperament “has massively improved,” BBC Sport report.
I have got no doubt he will be ready to face this challenge at the weekend. He’s in the best place he can be. His behaviour has massively improved again. When he came on again yesterday, there were people trying to provoke him and he just rolled on with it – he was brilliant.

Morelos has only been sent off once so far this season, after he picked up two yellow cards against Motherwell earlier this month.
However the striker’s temperament was also praised before the League Cup final earlier this month, and he was fortunate he didn’t receive a red card for his cynical stamp on Christopher Jullien.
Morelos still has that moment of madness in his locker therefore, and nobody would be surprised if was to receive a red card on Sunday.
