Darren Bent has urged Celtic to sign Jordan Rhodes in January as he believes the Scotland international would thrive at Parkhead.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Celtic next month as Neil Lennon looks to strengthen his striking options.
And speaking to Football Insider, Bent believes Rhodes would be a good signing for the Hoops.
Yeah I think he could go up to Scotland and score goals quite consistently. I’ve always wondered about Jordan Rhodes as he seems to score as much as he wants when in League One or in the Championship, but no one has really given him an opportunity in the Premier League by thinking yeah I think he can do it.
But for someone like him who has scored that many goals, no one is looking to give him that opportunity in the Premier League so Celtic is the next best thing for him.
Talking about Champions League football, winning trophies, fighting with Rangers, so I think for someone like Jordan Rhodes that could be really good for him.

Speculation linking Celtic with Rhodes has certainly sparked some debate amongst supporters since the rumours emerged.
Some agree with Bent and believe a move to Parkhead could resurrect his career and see him return to his goalscoring best.
However others believe Rhodes is past his best and there are better options for Celtic to sign next month.
One thing is for sure though, and that is the fact that Lennon does need to sign another striker in January to bolster his attacking options.
