Celtic playmaker Ryan Christie was rushed to hospital following the defeat to Rangers.
The Scottish international went for immediate surgery on his groin, with many fearing that he could be out for several months.

However, as reported on the Daily Record, medics feel that the injury is not as bad as first feared and he could be back in action before the end of January.
Christie is also set to be handed a two-match ban for grabbing Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos in the genital area during the Glasgow Derby.
It is expected that Christie will be back with a ball at his feet within two or three weeks

This is great news for the Hoops. Several people were incredibly worried about Christie’s chances at returning even within one month, so this is a massive boost.
Christie has also been Celtic’s star man, so having him for the business end of the season is crucial.
He has netted ten times and registered eight assists in the Scottish Premiership so far this campaign.
