Hutton feels teammates let Brown down against Rangers

Former Scotland defender Alan Hutton has praised Celtic captain Scott Brown for his display against Rangers.

Hutton feels that the skipper was let down by the display of his teammates at Celtic Park during the 1-2 defeat to their Glasgow rivals.

Majority of the Hoops players have been criticised but Hutton feels Brown doesn’t deserve it. As quoted on Football Insider, Hutton said:

I think it was a very subdued performance from the whole team if I’m honest.

The one who looked the most up for it for me was Scott Brown, he was trying to rally the troops if you like and wasn’t really getting anything back.

Scott Brown tried to give his all but apart from that, I thought it was a poor Celtic performance.

Majority of the Celtic team were disappointing in one of the most important matches of the league season.

Brown, as always, tried to get something going but unfortunately, couldn’t do so despite the late rally.
