Kilmarnock have cut Celtic’s ticket allocation for their clash at Rugby Park later this month, the Hoops confirmed on their official website.
Neil Lennon’s men travel to face Killie in their first league game back from the winter break, four days after their Scottish Cup clash with Partick Thistle.
However the number of fans travelling to support the Bhoys at Rugby Park will be significantly less than previous seasons, with Celtic confirming they have been allocated tickets for just the Chadwick Stand.

The Hoops’ allocation has essentially been halved for the trip to Rugby Park, with around 4,500 tickets available for Celtic supporters instead of the normal figure which is around 9,000.
However the news is hardly surprising given how Killie will be looking to feed off their home support later this month, and how they have done the same to Rangers previously.
Celtic will still be incredibly well backed at Rugby Park however, and Lennon’s men will be eager to return to action with a positive result agains Killie.
