Slovan Bratislava’s general director Ivan Kmotrik has warned Celtic that other clubs are now expressing an interest in signing Andraz Sporar.
Sporar has previously been described as Neil Lennon’s “top target” for January, suggesting the Hoops boss is keen to strengthen his striking options with the 25-year-old.
And while the Bristol Post claims Celtic “appear to be the front runners” in the race for Sporar, the report also quotes Kmotrik as warning Celtic to act quickly amid interest from other clubs.
We have received offers from several clubs. We have an offer from Sporting Lisbon and now Al-Gharafa, a club from Qatar.
We were also in touch with one very successful Russian club and they should send us an official offer during the next few days, while there was other information about interest from Ukraine, Belgium or France.

As we said at the beginning of the transfer window, there is a very intense interest in Sporar, which is increasing day by day. We are open to negotiation with all serious partners including Celtic.
However, as we said before, we will only accept a transfer fee which really matches the current value of Sporar, who is the second best striker in the Europa League this season.

Interest in Sporar is hardly surprising given how prolific the striker has been this season.
The 25-year-old has found the back of the net 20 times already this campaign from just 26 appearances, and he has proven pedigree in the Europa League with five goals in the group stages.
And Celtic must now act quickly amid interest from a number of other clubs or they will run the risk of missing out on another January target.
Fabricio Bruno looks to be on his way to Red Bull Bragantino despite Celtic having previously been in talks with Cruzeiro, while the Hoops also face competition in the race for Ismaila Soro.
Belgian outlet Genk have already made a bid for the defensive midfielder, and the pressure will now be on Celtic to respond in what is a pivotal month in the season.
