Celtic have beaten Leicester City and West Ham United in the race to sign 15-year-old winger Bruno Davidson.
That’s according to the Daily Record, cited by HITC, who claim that the teenager has signed a three-year contract with the Hoops, with the deal being finalised on Tuesday evening.

Reports over the weekend claimed Celtic had ‘won the race’ for the well-known local club Hutchison Vale ace, and it looks as if a switch to Celtic Park is all wrapped up.
As well as Leciester and West Ham, the report claims that Davidson also went on trial with Liverpool and Southampton, however, he’s favoured a move to Scotland.

Even though this transfer probably won’t initially get many supporters jumping off their seats, additions like these are vital for the Hoops.
Celtic were able to beat off competition from several Premier League sides to secure Davidson’s services and he could turn out to be another young gem to break through into the first-team.
Of course, Neil Lennon will be looking to add several senior signings to his ranks, with the Daily Mail claiming the Northen Irishman wants four through the door before the end of the month, but it’s great to see that the club are continuing to look to add the best young talent to their development squad too as any player who can make it from there into the first-team could save the club millions of pounds in transfer fees.
