Celtic face competition from Bristol City in the race to sign Andraz Sporar this month after the English Championship club made a “firm offer” for the Slovan Bratislava striker.
That’s according to the Daily Record, who claim while Celtic are “firmly in the mix” to sign the 25-year-old, the Robins have submitted an offer for him.
The report confirms Sporting Lisbon are also interested in Sporar, but Bristol City are the only side to have made a “firm offer.”

READ CELTIC VERDICT
Celtic’s stance on Sporar is certainly a confusing one when all the previous reports are taken into consideration.
Firstly Neil Lennon confirmed Celtic held initial talks with Slovan over a move for the striker last month; something that has also been confirmed by Bratislava’s general director Ivan Kmotrik.
And speculation of a move appeared to be gathering pace after reports confirmed the Slovakian side are set to sign a replacement for Sporar later this month.
However Kmotrik has also revealed that Celtic have not followed up their initial interest, giving the likes of Bristol City the chance to make a bid.
And while the Hoops still appear to be interested following the Daily Record’s report, they will have competition following the Robins’ “firm offer.”
